ABOUT OUR FAMILY AND DOGS:

My name is Donna Reed, and with the help of my son Russell Reed we raise Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies. We breed our corgi's on a small farm in rural Alabama. All of our corgi puppies have constant contact with people and other animals most of all their time on the farm, so they are good with coping with a new environment when they go to their forever homes. Corgi's are the most loyal dogs Ive ever known and are perfect family members. As a breeder I breed for conformation and personality in our puppies, we do not breed just to sell a "dog", we want our puppies to be the best physically and mentally.

A little about the breed:

Pembroke Welsh Corgi's are bred to be herding dogs in Great Britain. Their main purpose was to herd sheep and goats, the reason they were so good at this is because unlike most herding dogs, corgi's are low to the ground which makes them less likely to be kicked by the animal they are herding. Corgi's are very intelligent and loyal dogs , so it makes sense they would be good friends with whomever gets the chance to own one.
